Got up and went to the gym at 6:30 this morning, before my classes! I was so proud of myself! And then for breakfast I had some fresh fruit and granola, and for lunch I had a cup of vegetarian vegetable soup, and a ham and cheese sandwhich on 12 grain wheat bread. So so far a good day :) I did have a cappachino though, which isnt the best for you, but its so cold outside that I just couldnt stand it! I feel so motivated today!!
Just got back from a 45 minute cardio sesh and loved every minute of it! Now I’m off to work, where I will be on my feet the whole time for 6 hours lol
What is your least favorite type of cardio?
Running. I absolutely hate it, mostly because I suck at it and can barely make it one time around the track before I’m huffing and puffing. But I want to get better at it, and then maybe I’ll start to like it more. I’d like to start running and maybe even run a 5K next summer…that seems like a good goal to work up to.
The past 2 days just weren’t good diet days, so today is all about getting back on track and working out A LOT. Because I know if I have one really really good day, then I’ll want to again tomorrow and the next day.
But if I’m slipping up already…what am I going to do at college when ALL of my meals are all-you-can-eat? And there’s an icecream bar? And a bunch of unhealthy choices? College is 50 days away and I’m already dreading that I’m just going to gain back the little bit of weight (and more) of what I lost.
But I won’t let that happen.
So instead of GAINING the dreaded “Freshman Fifteen”…my goal will be to lose atleast 15 pounds while I’m at school. Which isn’t much…but it’s better than gaining it, right?
Until I’m under 200! That’s obviously not my ultimate goal, but it will be super nice to see a 1 on the scale!
Tonight I am going to the movies and instead of buying a bunch of junk food, my friend and I are both taking a small bag of SmartFood white cheddar popcorn! yumm!

Went to the gym this morning. Burned about 300 calories. Then I went to a minor league baseball game with my boyfriend and his family…sweated my ass off!!! I didn’t get any unhealthy good though!
For breakfast I had 2 scrambled eggs and coffee with fat-free creamer.
For “lunch” I had no sugar added vanilla froyo with fresh strawberries and kiwi.
And for dinner I had a super yummy grilled chicken salad and apple slices.
And all I drank all day (other than my cup of coffee) was water water water!
